Steven Farrer

Steve was born and raised in the small farming town of Rexburg, ID. He graduated from Ricks College with degrees in both Business Management and Spanish. He then transferred to Brigham Young University in Provo, UT where he studied Sociology. While still attending BYU, he began his first job in the mortgage industry. He used the success he enjoyed from that first opportunity to build a lifelong career which has served him and his family well.

Steve now has almost 20 years of professional lending experience in both production and managerial capacities. This experience allows him to provide a level of service and insight to his clients and business partners which few people can match. His friendly demeanor and charismatic personality often result in his clients becoming his friends. In fact his expansive client portfolio has been built largely on referrals from other clients both past and present.

When he isn’t in the office working, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. With two boys and two girls he stays pretty busy. When he isn’t coaching his son’s baseball and basketball teams he and his wife are attending dance recitals and musical performances for their two daughters. Skiing is also a favorite family past time and occupies many of the family’s winter weekends. Steve was taught to ski at a young age and has passed that tradition on to his children.

Steve is dedicated to making the experience of purchasing or refinancing a home as simple and enjoyable as possible. He truly enjoys his work and the ability his position provides to improve the lives of others through the goals of financial stability and home ownership.
